The position is a senior executive leadership role above the existing IT Head function and requires a technology leader capable of providing enterprise-wide strategic direction, governance, and oversight of Information Technology and Information Security functions.

Mandatory Experience Requirements

• Minimum 20 years of overall experience in Information Technology, Information Security, Cyber Security, Technology Governance, IT Risk Management, and Digital Transformation,
• Minimum 10 years of experience in senior leadership positions with responsibility for enterprise IT strategy, cybersecurity governance, and technology risk management.
• Candidate must have held senior positions such as:
  • General Manager – IT
  • Deputy General Manager – IT
  • Chief Information Officer (CIO)
  • Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
  • Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)
  • Head – Technology / Head – Information Security in large banking or financial institutions.

Essential Senior Leadership Exposure

The candidate must have proven experience in:

• Providing strategic supervision and governance over large-scale IT environments.
• Leading IT transformation initiatives, technology modernization, and enterprise architecture planning.
• Designing and implementing IT governance frameworks aligned with regulatory and industry standards.
• Acting as the final authority for cybersecurity strategy, cyber risk governance, and information security maturity enhancement.
• Managing technology risks and presenting risk posture to Executive Management, Board-level committees, Audit Committee, and Risk Management Committee.
• Handling RBI inspections, regulatory audits, statutory audits, cyber security assessments, and compliance reviews.
• Establishing and monitoring Cyber Security Operations Centre (SOC), Security Incident Response, Vulnerability Management, and Threat Intelligence frameworks.
• Driving implementation of advanced security controls, Zero Trust Architecture, Data Protection Frameworks, and Cyber Resilience programs.
• Overseeing Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Disaster Recovery (DR), Crisis Management, and operational resilience programs.
• Managing large technology budgets, strategic vendors, outsourcing partners, and enterprise technology contracts.
• Leading large technology teams comprising IT Infrastructure, Applications, Information Security, Digital Banking, Risk, and Compliance functions.
• Managing enterprise-wide technology operations with multiple locations and critical banking applications.
• Providing strategic direction to existing IT leadership and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Should have deep understanding of:

Educational Qualification

Candidates should possess sound knowledge of IT Governance, Cyber Security, Information Security, IT Risk Management, RBI Guidelines, Core Banking Systems, and Digital Banking Technologies.

B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics & Communication or equivalent from a recognized University.

Preferably M.E./M.Tech / MCA / MBA (IT/Systems) or equivalent Post Graduate qualification.

Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Lead Implementer, CCSP or equivalent will be preferred.

• LAN, WAN, VPN, Firewall, Switches, Routers, Wi-Fi, Servers यांचे ज्ञान.
• CBS, ATM, NFS, UPI, Internet Banking Connectivity संबंधी अनुभव असल्यास प्राधान्य.
